It was a surprise, an object no longer functional without water and without repair, landing in what was once a body of water, in fact a military marina. Over time, seemingly in slow motion, Sebastian attended to the boat, adding a temporary roof to shelter it from weather as he worked on restoring its ability to float. At times, the boat seemed to be abandoned. I would worry about it. Wondering what, if anything, I should do. Das Arbeiten an und f\u00fcr Gesellschaft, sowie die darin bestehende Verbundenheit und Beziehung zur Geschichte. Ich versuche die Relativit\u00e4t von Zeit, Orten und Grenzen zu verdeutlichen und die Schaupl\u00e4tze der Geschichte dar\u00fcber als ein, mich betreffendes Geschehen zu vermitteln. Beide Teile der Arbeit sollen in Prozess und Ausstellung f\u00fcr den Betrachter zug\u00e4nglich gemacht werden. Und so in allen Handlungen, deren Bedeutung bewusst und klar machen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Arbeit greift Themen politischer Aktualit\u00e4t auf. Sie versteht sich jedoch nicht im Aktivismus, sondern in der Verwendung poetischer Motive, die dem Menschen als w\u00fcnschendes Individuum entsprechen. Handlung selbst wird als sinnstiftendes Erlebnis in den Mittelpunkt ger\u00fcckt. Die daraus entstehenden Bilder sind archetypisch. Sie entfalten ihre Kraft in der Reflexion des eigenen Lebenszusammenhangs und der daraus resultierenden Vorstellung als Ausgangspunkt f\u00fcr eine funktionierende Gemeinschaft. &nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Wekrkomplex <em>Flo\u00df der Medusa <\/em>steht in kontinuierlichem Wachstum. Weitere Verhandlungen und Ausstellungen werden folgen und sind geplant. In allen einfachen Bausteine erzeugt sich eine zunehmende Verdichtung und Komplexit\u00e4t. und sind nicht gerade diese einfachen Motive unserer Sehnsucht. In dieser Abh\u00e4ngigkeit und Auseinandersetzung wird das Boot sukzessive zu seinem Inital wieder zusammengef\u00fcgt. Ein Ausstellung und Auseinandersetzungsort f\u00fcr 2023\/24 wird gesucht und ein weiterer Baustein scheint Greifbar und ist im Gespr\u00e4ch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Arbeit wurde im November 2021 um die Auseinandersetzung mit der Situation in Moria auf Lesbos weitergef\u00fchrt.
